Indian Cultural Society, UAE’s new officer bearers elected

Ajman (UAE): The Indian Cultural Society UAE, an NRI wing of SDPI, formation of central committee at its meeting here elected the new office bearers for the duration of three years.

Aliyar from Kerala was elected as the president, Naseer Karaje from Karnataka was elected as the general secretary, Hasan TM as vice president and Munavar and Naushad were elected as secretaries during a programme held on April 17, 2015, a release from Indian Cultural Society, UAE, said here.

Naushad Thirunavaya, secretary, Indian Cultural Society, UAE welcomed the gathering at the programme where the chief guest was A Saeed, the SDPI national president.

The programme was presided over by Hasan TM, president UAE while Munavar, former general secretary, Indian Cultural Society, UAE, submitted the annual report. It was followed by the election conducted by Naushad Kotekal.

The newly elected committee was announced by A Saeed, who also spoke regarding the present scenario and the reason for a positive politics in India. Newly elected president Aliyar delivered the concluding speech followed by the vote of thanks by general secretary Karaje, the release added.
