Fascivadi Virodhi Manch launched in Delhi

Delhi: About 95 activists, writers of various religious and democratic groups along with individuals came together on Wednesday, November 18, to form the Fascivadi Virodh Manch in Delhi to counter the onslaught of fascist forces perpetrating all walks of the society.

The activities of FVM will compliment activities of other initiatives. FVM will initiate work in Delhi initially.
FVM is an open platform for all those who believe in these values, the press release issued by the organisation said.

In order to weaken the Indian democracy, the administrative, legal, scientific and educational, structures created during the past sixty year are either being demolished or tempered. The fascist onslaught has left these institutions permanently damaged and shows the direction in which the present regime is likely to push the country, the statement said. “Sangh has realized that large-scale violence attracts international media attention, and therefore now, meticulously planned high-intensity localized violence coupled with high-pitched hate campaigns is used across India to polarize the people and further marginalise the minorities,” the statement added.

The members includes eminent personanlities like Ashok Vajpeyi, Shabnam Hashmi, Ram Sharan Joshi, Apoorvanand,, Ali Javed, John Dayal, AR Shervani, Navaid Hamid and many others.
