Seven AMU students selected for Geological Survey of India

Seven students from the Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University have been selected for the post of Assistant Geologist in the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines, Government of India, through a recruitment test conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Professor Liaqat Ali Khan Rao, Chairman, Department of Geology, said that Mohammad Khatib Khan, Khush Navi, Md. Sarif Khan, Ebadur Rahman, Ilyas, Rais Alam and Ariba Kamal have qualified the prestigious examination.

Professor Rao further said that success of these students is a testimony of their hard work, dedication and guidance offered by the department. He assured that the Department will continue to provide them facilities to excel in their career.
