Dawat-e-Islami’s three-day 26th annual conference to begin in Mumbai on Friday

Mumbai: Sunni Dawat-e-Islami, an International non-political religious organization established in 1991 under the leadership of Maulana Mohammed Shakir Ali Noorie, is going to hold a three-day 26th annual ijtema (conference) at Azad Maidan from November 18 to 20.

During the conference, many senior clerics, scholars and preachers are expected to guide Muslim community on various topics. The scholars will talk about Islam and spread the message of peace.

A few of the Islamic Scholars expected to grace the occasion include Allama Qamruzzama Khan Azmi, Allama Qari Zahiruddin Khan, Mufti Nizamuddin Razavi , Sayed Moin Ashraf , Salim Noori from Canada and Arif Patel from UK among various others. Thousands of Muslims are expected to join the gathering from across the country and abroad.

The first day of the conference is scheduled only for Women while remaining two days are kept for men.
Women centric issues will be discussed on the first day include: Importance of women’s education, concept of marriage & divorce in Islam, Rights of women in Islam and Role of women in building great society & Nation.

On the remaining two days of the conference various other issues will be talked about.

One of the main attractions of this Ijtema, as claimed by the organizer in a press release is the mass prayer in the end for peace and prosperity of the whole mankind. The conference sends the message of Peace and Communal Harmony and vows to instill greater Humanitarian Values in the people.
