Kashmiri Muslims celebrate Mehraj-e-Alam

Srinagar, (IANS): Hundreds of Muslims on Tuesday offered prayers at the Hazratbal shrine here to celebrate “Mehraj-e-Alam” — Prophet Mohammad’s journey to heaven.

Devotees spent the whole night praying at the shrine that houses the Holy Relic of the Prophet. The devotees came from across the Kashmir Valley.
