New Delhi, (IANS): What has been the impact of internet on the media? How is journalism changing the world? Is new media really replacing traditional media in the eyes of readers? An upcoming forum is all set to discuss similar issues pertaining to the media industry in the recent years.
“The Media Rumble” aims to address several questions related to journalism and the first of its kind forum will feature some of the most experienced news professionals from across the world and India including Mike Rezendes, Suki Kim, Rob Wjinberg, Dhanya Rajendran, Ritu Sarin, Neha Dixit, Vir Das, Rohin Dharmakumar, Rajeev Chandrashekar and R Jagannathan, among others.
The two-day forum will discuss and explore the potential of journalism, its limitations and the best of journalism in the world in regard to reportage, business practices and technologies. The Media Rumble will include panel discussions, film screenings, talks, interviews and exclusive masterclasses culminating with a stand-up comedy performance on the theme of media and politics.
Facebook is the presenting partner for The Media Rumble, 2017. The forum is being organised by Teamwork Arts and News Laundry.
