All India Milli Council to launch Save constitution-Save India campaign as a call for ‘second freedom struggle’

All India Milli Council is organising a national seminar called ‘Save Constitution – Save India’ on July 30 in an attempt to address events which are threatening the defnition of India as per our Constitution.

In a preparatory meeting of the same, organized on July 25 in constitution club, Mohd. Manzoor Alam, the chairman of council said, “We have to go through a second freedom struggle to counter the challenges before the country.”

He said, “Today’s struggle is of constitution versus Manuwad. If we fail to maintain the original structure of the constitution, country may fall into a state of anarchy.”

Alam said, “Center has cut the education budget, by which the poor is being affected. Development and education are two responsibilities of the government, which it should bear at all costs.”

Council’s July 30 event will be focused upon the central idea of saving the constitution. Discussing the event Alam said, “A group of people leaning towards a particular ideology are trying to bring the change in the constitution in order to deprive minorities, Dalits and Pasmandas of their rights.”

Eyeing the 2019 general elections, Alam said, “With such intrusions and problem, 2019 elections are very much important. We have some solid work to do before election.” He appealled to the youth to observe the danger and live in a friendly environment.

Milli council is planning to organise another event named ‘Karvaan-e-Dusari Azaadi’, the datea of which are likely to be announced at the July 30 event. Milli Council has insisted for preparing an 18-month-long event in which local and small level events shall be held in localities inhabited by Muslims, Dalits and Tribals.

In the meeting, Ratanlal, YK Singh, MP Singh, GL Bhagat, Dinesh Kumar, Tej Singh, Akhilesh Rabua Ambedkar, Hukum Singh, Mohan Bina, Desh Rajan Lodhi, Sandip Kumar Yadav, Shahnshah Khan, Sooraj Prakash, Santosh Pandey, KP Maurya, Deepak Kumar, AB Singh, Sukhmindar Singh Siddhu, HR Ahmad, Bhagwan Jatav, Akhilesh Kumar, Devendra Bharti and many others took part.
