Strongly condemning the arrests of progressive intellectuals and human rights activists in various parts of the country, senior leader of Socialist Party (India) Pannalal Surana dared the Government of Maharashtra to arrest Sambhaji Bhide, the real master mind behind Bhima Koregaon violence.
In the press release of the party the leader has said that the arrests of these activists and intellectuals by the Maharashtra Government aided and abetted by Modi Government at the center, after seven months of Bhima Koregaon violence is to mislead the people and draw their attention away from the truth unearthed by the Maharashtra Police ATS. The Maharashtra Police ATS have exposed a number of ‘Hindutvwadi’ terrorists at Nala Sopara, Jalna, Aurangabad and other places which has unnerved the BJP.
On behalf of the Socialist party, Pannalal has urged the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Phadnavis to unconditionally release all the arrested intellectuals/activists and arrest Sambhji Bhide immediately and prosecute real perpetrators of violence of Bhima Koregaon.
