New Delhi: Popular Front of India will conduct a 3-day long campaign, from December 18 to 20, against Enforcement Directorate harassment of the organization’s activists and its leaders.
Organization activists across the country will go from door to door, from house to house and from shop to shop, to meet masses to tell the people how investigation agencies and government institutions have become instruments of torture in the hands of central government.
Agencies like ED, NIA and CBI are being misused by the BJP at the behest of RSS government to settle scores with its political rivals and suppress voices of dissent. Organizations and activists who stood at the forefront against anti-people policies are now being targeted by implicating them in fabricated cases. The concocted cases against Popular Front of India, the raids on its offices and the residences of its leaders are nothing but part of these vindictive actions.
“Through the campaign, the organization intends to wake up masses against this ongoing repression,” PFI said in a statement.
