Whatever problems the country is facing at any given time of history, the campaign to discredit Muslims and create an atmosphere of hatred against them has always found its way in the mainstream discourse. To counter this negative stereotyping of 172 million strong Muslim minority, more than 200 intellectuals of the country have formed a think tank called Indian Muslims For Progress and Reforms (IMPAR).
