Bhopal : The Bharatiya Janata Party ruled Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Higher Education Tukojirao Puar has claimed that the State is now emerging as a higher education hub. Even students from other states are now coming to the state for higher education, he added.
Puar said that this is the result of concerted efforts made under the leadership of the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, to modernize higher education in keeping with the requirements of new age.
He cited the example of Ujjain where students from other states like Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Guajrat and Maharashtra participated in the counselling organized by Vikram University for various vocational courses including, B.Sc., M.Sc and M. Phil.
Puar said that new courses have been introduced in the state as per requirements of the modern times. Besides, effective steps have been taken to improve the quality of teaching and to ensure better discipline and academic atmosphere in the educational institutions.
He said that now all those educational facilities are being provided in the state, which had been attracting the students of the state to other states. Now this migration is being checked. Even students from other states are coming to Madhya Pradesh for higher education. Now Madhya Pradesh will be second to none in higher education, but would become a hub, he claimed.([email protected])
