Gujarat firm accuses two employees of stealing coal worth Rs.3.6 mn

Jamnagar (Gujarat) : Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd unit has filed a complaint against two of its employees, accusing them of illegally selling coal worth Rs.3.6 million, police said Tuesday.

Company official Satishchandra Vallabhdas Rathod filed the complaint of cheating and breach of trust against peon Mukeshgiri Parshotamgiri Bawaji and helper Hareshsinh Mansinh Jadeja at Khambaliya police station, about 60 km from here, Monday.

In its complaint, the company said that during the last one month Bawaji and Jadeja had sold over 300 tonnes of coal worth Rs.3.6 millions to their agents by entering wrong figures in the stock register and preparing bogus weighbridge receipts.
