New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) general secretary Vijay Goel Wednesday criticised Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit’s move to regularise unauthorised colonies in the national capital.
“The Congress chief minister had nine years to regularise the unauthorised colonies but she has chosen this time, two months before the state elections, to woo their four million residents,” Goel told reporters here.
The Supreme Court has been unhappy over the alleged breach of its earlier orders banning regularisation of unauthorised colonies without providing for basic infrastructure.
Goel said: “Sheila Dikshit very well knows that she will not be able to regularise these colonies. She is trying to mislead her party president Sonia Gandhi.”
