Ghosal, Sandhu duo in national squash semis

Chennai : Tamil Nadu's Saurav Ghosal and Harinder Pal Sandhu were among the pairs who advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the National Squash Championships here Monday.

Ghosal and Sandhu defeated Pratik Baweja and Kapil Murjani of Rajasthan 11-2, 11-3, 11-7 in a second round encounter.

In the Inter-State Championship, Rajasthan 'A' beat Uttranchal 3-0, Delhi 'A' beat Uttar Pradesh 'B' 3-0, Chandigarh 'A' defeated Rajasthan 'B' 3-0, Chandigarh 'B' lost to Delhi 'B' 0-3, Services beat West Bengal 2-1 and Karnataka lost to Haryana 1-2.
