Dubai : The International Cricket Council (ICC) Board has asked Indian cricket board president Shashank Manohar to meet the officials of the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL).
The decision was taken by ICC Board Tuesday after it received a formal application for approval from the ICL.
“Manohar agreed to provide the Board with a full written report of those discussions in due course,” the ICC said in a statement.
The Board also discussed the new regulations regarding official and unofficial leagues and to look after it a sub-committee comprising legal head David Becker, Manohar, Giles Clarke, Norman Arendse and Lalit Modi has been set-up.
It was agreed that a final draft would be submitted to the directors for approval.
