Baghdad : At least 10 people were killed and more than 25 wounded when a car bomb went off at a busy market in Kufa town south of Baghdad Tuesday, police said.
The attack took place at about 10.15 a.m. at a crowded popular market, 10 km northeast from the holy city of Najaf, the source said.
Women and children were among the killed and wounded victims, he said, adding the blast damaged several nearby shops and civilian cars.
