"V.S. Achuthanandan chairs the Left Democratic Front and once the decisions are taken he comes out and complains. Likewise, he makes decisions during cabinet meetings and then complains about it. This is the bane of the state," Chandy told reporters.

Achuthanandan has recently complained about the state government availing of a a loan from the Asian Development Bank and corruption charges against the state unit of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M).

"Never before have there been so many factional feuds as there are now and this has really affected the governance," Chandy said.
