New Delhi : The body of former prime minister V.P. Singh was flown to his hometown Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh eary Friday.
V.P. Singh died at the age of 77 in the Apollo Hospital here Thursday afternoon after battling a kidney ailment and cancer for more than a decade.
The body was flown in an air force plane to his native city. The cremation was expected to take place Friday evening.
