New Delhi : Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani Wednesday wished a happy New Year to the people of India.
“Greetings and good wishes for the New Year,” Gandhi said in a message.
Advani, BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, said in a separate message: “On behalf of BJP and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), I wish all a very happy, prosperous and secure New Year. Let us together resolve to end despair and usher hope in year in 2009,” Advani said in his message.
