Kabul : At least 20 police personnel have been killed in an ambush by Taliban insurgents in southern Afghanistan, a senior official said Thursday.
A group of insurgents Wednesday ambushed the convoy of the district chief of Musa Qalat, a region filled with Taliban militants, in a remote are of Hemland province, the official said, adding that 20 security guards were killed in the attack.
