New Delhi : Three children received minor burn injuries when their school van caught fire in the capital Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred near the Rohini area of northwest Delhi when a CNG-powered van of the Ganga International School suddenly caught fire.
Police said the fire, which was apparently caused by a short circuit, quickly engulfed the vehicle.
The injured – identified as Sonal (4), Abhay (5), and Saransh (5) – were rushed to a hospital where they were discharged after receiving first-aid.
No case has been registered so far.
