New Delhi : An armyman was arrested for allegedly raping his 15-year-old daughter in the capital, police said Sunday.
Jagdish Kush, posted in Delhi Cantonment, was arrested Saturday on a complaint by his daughter, a senior police officer said.
“Kush raped his daughter Friday. The girl approached the neighbours after the incident and they took her to the police station following which a complaint was lodged,” the officer said.
The medical examination has confirmed rape and Kush was immediately arrested, the officer added.
Kush last month brought his daughter and two sons from his village, Reva in Madhya Pradesh. His wife and a third son are in the village.
