Mumbai : Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been granted interim bail by the Supreme Court, is expected to be released from Pune’s Yerawada prison Tuesday.

“We can only release Sanjay Dutt after we receive a copy of the Supreme Court’s order,” said Maharashtra Inspector General of Prisons Satish Mathur Monday as news came in of the Supreme Court’s breather to the actor.

Mathur said the apex court order would as usual be routed through the Terrorism and Disruptive Activities (Preventive) Act (TADA) court, before it is handed to the Yerawada prison authorities.

“Under the circumstances, he is likely to be released from jail on Tuesday,” Mathur said.
