Gaza : Six members of Hamas executive forces were killed in an Israeli air raid in central Gaza Strip on Monday afternoon, witnesses and hospital officials said.
Witnesses said that an Israeli helicopter fired one rocket at a jeep belonging to Hamas police force near the security fence separating between Israel and Gaza to the east of al-Burij refugee camp.
Ambulance workers said it was difficult to collect the remains of the bodies since they were torn apart and scattered in the border area.
The Israeli army confirmed the airstrike, saying that the car-carrying gunmen who fired rockets into Israel earlier Monday.
In addition, witnesses added that Israeli tanks opened fire towards the place of the incident and started to roll into the area in the wake of the air strike, but the Israeli army didn’t confirm the incursion, saying they were checking the news.
