Chennai : Two Tamil television channels – Kalaignar TV and Jaya TV – have been booked for allegedly violating the model code of conduct, an election official said here Monday.
“Jaya TV violated the code by showing scenes that may incite violence. We have issued notice to the channel to stop such telecast,” Tamil Nadu’s Chief Electoral Officer Naresh Gupta told reporters.
He said Kalaignar TV also violated the poll code and notice will be issued to them.
