Istanbul: A heavy explosion caused a fire in a munitions factory on the outskirts of Ankara Tuesday, media reports said.
Media reports said the blast at Roketsan in the town of Elmadag on the southern edge of Ankara had felt “like an earthquake”. However, there were no immediate reports of casualties.
Roketsan produces missile systems, including those used in aircraft and anti-tank defence.
