Bhuj (Gujarat) : Two Kashmiri youths are being questioned by Gujarat police after Indian Army soldiers nabbed them for suspicious behaviour in the border district of Kutch, an official said Thursday.
A police official identified the two men, in their early 20s, as Mohammed Zamir Ali Mohammed and Mohammed Altaf Nazeer Hussain of Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
The soldiers caught them Wednesday evening as they were “wandering suspiciously” near Bhuj, he said. The army then handed them over to the police.
The official said two bags were recovered from the youths.
“The men have still not been able to explain why they were loitering near Bhuj yesterday and most of all why they are in Kutch,” the official said.
