New Delhi : A 24-year-old Non-Resident Indian was found hanging from the ceiling at his west Delhi home Tuesday, the police said.
Harvinder Singh, son of a US-based NRI couple, was staying with his grandfather in Tilak Nagar and preparing for his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the Indian capital, the police said.
“He was hanging from the ceiling and the door was locked from inside. We have not found any suicide note, but prima facie it looks like suicide,” said a police official.
Singh’s death was detected when his cousin came to meet him. His grandfather was away from home at the time, the police said.
Harvinder’s body has been sent for post mortem. The police are trying to get details about Singh and his habits.
