New Delhi: Textile Minister Dayanidhi Maran Wednesday underwent a “minor surgery” to remove a urinary tract stone at the Indraparastha Apollo Hospital here.
“The surgery was conducted for removing the urinary tract stone. The minister is absolutely in good condition,” a doctor at Apollo told IANS, requesting anonymity.
“Most probably he will be discharged Thursday,” the doctor added.
The 44-year-old politician from Tamil Nadu came to the hospital Tuesday evening with pain in the urethra. Doctors attending on him said that a 6 mm stone was removed from his urethra.
