The date did not suit the Nepalese interior minister and this was the sole reason for putting the event on hold, All India Radio (AIR) reported quoting official sources in New Delhi.

India’s Home Minister P. Chidambaram was to attend the meeting. Chidambarm’s visit had evoked interest as he was expected to not just pave the way for engagement with Islamabad but also forcefully make India’s point on the need for Pakistan to dismantle the terror infrastructure.
