Iran to broaden all-out ties with Morocco – Mottaki

Tehran : Visiting Moroccan Energy Minister Mohamed Boutaleb has conferred with Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on expansion of mutual ties between the two countries.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the meeting Tuesday, Mottaki said Iran attaches importance to expansion of all-out ties with Arabic Morocco as well as countries in North Africa.

“We regard development, power and success of Moroccan as our own,” Mottaki said.

Referring to the exchange of visits between the two sides’ officials, he said the two sides’ high ranking officials are determined to increase level of mutual cooperation in various commercial, economic and industrial sectors.

The Moroccan minister, for his part, said the aim of his visit to Iran was to prepare the grounds for expansion of economic and commercial ties at regional and international levels.

“To broaden friendly and brotherly ties, Morocco is ready to upgrade the current level of ties with Iran to its highest level,” he said.

He also expressed the hope that the fifth Iran-Morocco Joint Economic Commission meeting would create new grounds for expansion of economic cooperation between the two countries.
