Mumbai : Jhulan Goswami will lead the Indian women’s cricket team in the first two One-Day Internationals (ODI) against England.
Off-spinner Nooshin Al Khadeer, a former world No.1, has been recalled for the first two matches starting Feb 19 in Bangalore.
Amita Chopra has been retained as the vice-captain but Reema Malhotra, Sulakshana Naik, and Snehal Pradhan have been dropped.
Anagha Deshpande is the wicket-keeper in the 14-member squad announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Monday.
The England team will play five ODIs and three Twenty20 internationals from Feb 19 to March 8.
The England team arrived in Bangalore Sunday. They will play a warm-up match against Karnataka State Cricket Association XI at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium Wednesday.
