“Even after the completion of eight years of Gujarat Genocide, criminals are still roaming freely, instead are in power whereas the victims are denied justice, they are detained and put in jails and are struggling for right to life. Muslims are socially boycotted and have become refugees in their own country,” Lateef Mohammad Khan, Gen. Sec. CLMCI said.

He said the “Indian government has failed to protect the fundamental rights of its citizens especially of those who are in minority. Modi has implemented Hindutva raj in Gujarat in the guise of democracy. On the other side the judiciary is behaving in irresponsible manner which is against the standard of justice.”

He demanded the government to provide justice, restore people’s confidence on Secularism and Democracy. “Modi and the like-minded people should be brought under the law. If the Indian government has to clear the blot, it has to punish the culprits of the Gujarat Muslims and has to protect the Muslims right to life with human dignity.”
