Islamabad: Twelve militants were killed in fighting with the security forces in northwest Pakistan Thursday, Xinhua reported.
The fighting took place in the Lower Dir region of North West Frontier Province (NWFP).
Twenty militants were also arrested in the operation and a huge cache of arms and ammunition, including grenades, Kalashnikovs, and pistols were seized.
