“With this in mind, we are launching a 45-day campaign against child labour tomorrow (Friday),” the official added.

The campaign will end June 12 which is observed as Child Labour Day by the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

According to the civil society, the number of child labourers in the country around 40 million, much higher than the official figures.
