New Delhi : Nine days after the civic authorities sealed a commercial complex at the Inderlok Metro station for allegedly not complying with norms, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Thursday re-opened the complex on the orders of Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna.
The MCD had sealed a mall at the metro premises on June 8 alleging that a private developer has constructed it without authorisation from the civic body.
A meeting chaired by the lieutenant governor Tuesday was asked to clear the stand-off between the MCD and the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
“The mall has been de-sealed following instructions from the Lt Governor,” officer on special duty to the lieutenant governor Ranjan Mukherjee told IANS.
The complex has shops of well-known brands like Comesum, McDonald’s, Raymonds and Big Bazaar.
