National convention on Politics of Terrorism on 21st Sep

New Delhi: A national convention on the “Politics of Terrorism and Suspicion: Two Years since the Batla House ‘Encounter” is being organized on 21st September (Tuesday) by Jamia Teachers’ Solidarity Association in New Delhi.

The convention will particularly explore and deal with involvement of the Hindutva groups in many terror activities and allegedly the willful ignorance by the Indian investigative agencies as well as the Indian state towards Hindutva terror.

Prominent among the speakers are Digvijay Singh, the Congress leader, Teesta Setalvad noted activist, Mahesh Bhatt, noted filmmaker, S.M. Mushrif, Former IG, Police, Maharashtra and author of “Who Killed Karkare?” Subhash Ghatade, a prominent writer, Lateef Mohammad Khan, general secretary, Civil Liberties Monitoring Committee, Hyderabad, Paba Mohan, lawyer and activist, PUCL and Tribal Peoples’ Association, Tamil Nadu, Bobby Kunhu, researcher and activist and Com. Amarjit Kaur, Communist Party of India

The Convention is scheduled to be on 21st September, 2 pm onwards at the FTK-CIT auditorium, (Ansari Auditorium complex, near Youth café), Jamia Millia Islamia
