Islamabad : Five judges in Pakistan have been suspended on charges of corruption.
Dawn reported that two district and sessions judges and three additional district and sessions judges were suspended Thursday for a period of three months.
Justice Miftauddin Khan, registrar of Peshawar High Court, suspended the judicial officers.
The district and sessions judges who have been suspended are Fayyazullah Khan and Shahid Naseem Khan while the suspended additional district and sessions judges are Syed Asghar Shah, Faqirur Rehman Jadoon and Sajjad Anwer.
