New Delhi : Catering to the manifold rise in ridership, the Delhi Metro Friday said it will introduce six-coach trains from December on two lines.
According to Raj Kumar, director of operations of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the six-coach trains will be introduced on Line 3 (Dwarka Sector 21 to NOIDA City Centre) and subsequently on line 2 (Jehangirpuri to HUDA City Centre).
The Line 2 and 3 of the Delhi Metro are the busiest and frequently face technical problems.
Kumar said the trains will join the Metro’s fleet within a month.
