Mumbai : Indian stocks markets will have an extended weekend with trading closed Friday on account of Muharram.
During the truncated trading week, the 30-share sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) moved up 1.87 percent to close at 19.864.45 points, compared to the previous weekly close at 19,508.89 points.
