Baghdad : A roadside bomb went off near an Iraqi army patrol in western Baghdad Monday, killing three soldiers and wounding two.
An interior Ministry source said the blast occurred in the Adel district when army was patrolling. Two vehicles were damaged.
Late on Sunday, two suicide car bomb attacks hit Iraqi army checkpoints in the volatile western part of the capital, killing a total of two soldiers and wounding six others, the source said.
