Abu Dhabi: A high-level delegation, representing South Korean major corporations, called on officials of the Western Region Development Council (WRDC) to get a first-hand experience of the development projects in the region.
WRDC plays a key role working closely with the relevant government entities within Abu Dhabi Emirate to improve social development, education, healthcare, and infrastructure for the region
Accompanied by South Korean Ambassador to the UAE Kwon Tae-Kyun, the visiting delegation was received by Director General of WRDC Hamdan bin Azzan Al Mazrouie.
Al Mazrouei, during the meet, expressed the WRDC’s preparedness to provide facilities for companies interested in operating in the Western Region, or Al Gharbia.
He praised the support extended to the region’s development by President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi and deputy supreme commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region.
The meeting with the South Korean delegation also discussed corporate social responsibility.
