“We support his agitation against black money stashed in banks abroad,” Arvind Kejriwal, a member of the joint committee drafting the anti-graft law, said on the sidelines of a programme here.

“We will be there with him by Sunday,” he said.

Kejriwal, along with joint-committee members Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan, was addressing a conference on the Lokpal bill.

Maintaining that the prime minister and high court and Supreme Court judges should be within the purview of Lokpal, Kejriwal said only the corrupt will have problem in including these posts under the Lokpal’s ambit.

“Even (former Jharkhand chief minister) Madhu Koda can become prime minister tomorrow, if prime minister in not under Lokpal, he can well sell off the country,” Kejriwal said.

Koda is in jail facing charges of large scale corruption and charges of money laundering.

A joint committee comprising civil society members and five central ministers was formed by the government after activist Anna Hazare went on a 97-hour fast in April for a stringent anti-graft law in the country.
