Islamabad : US national Mathew Craig who was arrested here for illegally staying in the country has been remanded to 14-day custody in Adiala Jail, a media report said.Craig was arrested Friday from Islamabad’s sector I-11. He was presented before a court Saturday.
The interior ministry had ordered Craig to leave the country June 4 but he stayed on, Geo TV reported quoting police. The ministry canceled his visa.
He was picked up by the intelligence agencies from Islamabad’s Fateh Jang area, considered a sensitive area, according to the report.
