Islamabad : At least six militants were killed Saturday when a clash erupted in Pakistan’s northwestern region between two Taliban groups on a matter of cash transaction, a media report said.
The clash took place between the Mulla Zewar and Maulana Nabi Hanfi groups of the Pakistani Taliban in Shakartangi area of Orakzai region, the News International reported.
Sources said there was a row over some cash transaction between the groups. Some militants opened fire, resulting in the death of two from the Hanfi group and four from the Zewar group. Four others were wounded.
