Aligarh: A high-powered team led by Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis will be visiting Kishanganj (Bihar) on July 10-12, 2011 to inspect the sites identified by the Government of Bihar to be handed over to the University free from all encumbrances and liabilities for establishing the proposed AMU Centre in Kishanganj.
The other officials of the University who are visiting Kishanganj are Professor Akhtar Haseeb, OSD (Development), Prof. Javed Akhtar, Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Prof. N. A. K. Durrani, Media Advisor, Prof. Saud Alam Qasmi, Department of Sunni Theology and Prof. Ekram Husain, Principal, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology.
The Bihar Government has identified the required 250 acres of contiguous land available in four places in the village Petbhari, Mohamari, Dhanpura, Deramari and Kumhian in Thakurganj, Kochadhaman and Dighalbank Sub-divisions on Kishanganj-Bahadurganj Highway.
