Jakarta : Ten gold mine workers were killed when their helicopter crashed in Indonesia’s North Sulawesi province, an official said Thursday.
The helicopter, which crashed Wednesday, has been found near the Dua Saudara mountain, said Rudiyanto, an official.
“Nine people were found dead on the scene and another died on way to a hospital,” Rudiyanto told Xinhua.
The 10 people on board comprised three Australians, two Africans and five Indonesians.
The accident took place when the helicopter operated by Yemen Air was transporting the workers of a gold mine.
