New Delhi : Though she can’t pronounce his name, three-year-old Charvi Chawla woke up with just one wish Friday morning — to meet Anna Hazare.
Turning up with her grandfather at the Ramlila ground, the little girl went up to the stage where the Gandhian was fasting and drank water handed over to her by the 74-year-old.
When asked why she was here, she just managed “Anna….”
V.D Chawla, the toddler’s grandfather from Sarita Vihar in south Delhi, said: “She went to the play school this morning where she puked. After that, she did not eat anything and kept repeating that she wants to meet Anna.”
“She has been murmuring since morning that she wants to sit in Anna’s lap,” Chawla said.
Anna Hazare was Friday fasting at Ramlila ground after spending the first three days of his hunger strike in Tihar Jail.
