Islamabad : Pakistani Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim Thursday inaugurated the 6th International Expo Pakistan in southern Karachi city.
More than 50 countries, including Russia, China and Japan, are participating in the Oct 20-23 event. The last two days will be open for the general public.
The minister said the expo will provide a big opportunity to market Pakistani products ranging from textile, agriculture, dairy products, to fisheries, meat and engineering goods.
Handicrafts have been given prominent place at the expo, the official APP new agency reported.
Fahim said a large number of foreign and domestic investors, and diplomats from various countries are expected to visit.
