New Delhi : Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) celebrated its 41st foundation day Friday during which President’s Police Medals for distinguished services and Indian Police Medals for meritorious services for this year were given to officers.
At the investiture ceremony in Vigyan Bhavan, Jitendra Singh, union minister of state for home, gave away the medals.
Union Home Secretary R.K. Singh, was guest of honour, and Director, Intelligence Bureau, Nehchal Sandhu were present along with the heads of many police forces.
Releasing the new publication of BPR&D, including data on police organizations in India and occupational stress and emotional intelligence, Minister Jitendra Singh highlighted the need for change in the police. Singh also unveiled the flag of the newly formed CAPT, Bhopal.
